Hidden meaning. Intellectual fashion.

The days when “The Perfect Ten” gave a lead in the world of high fashion are filed as a history. Nowadays fresh names appear almost every season.

Designers tend to get into the top of the best but the fierce competition forces them to delve religion, culture, history of different peoples and to comprehend the whole epochs. Thanks to them, the fashion is in contact with the art. Part of it has become much more than just beautiful clothes, accessories, and jewelry! 

Collaborations acquired interesting shapes and meanings, creating hothouse conditions until the "intellectual fashion" appeared. That was a new direction characterized by a specific approach to the creation of the garment when the delicate creator's taste is opposed to mass stereotypes.

Dries van Noten, Nicolas Ghesquière, Mason Martin Margella, Alber Elbaz, Phoebe Philo, Ann Deluminator, Miucia Prada, Hussein Chalayan… this list can be continued. They are all bright and talented fashion designers, creating an elegant and sophisticated pret-a-porter for people who are short of space in the world of glamour, imaginary values and living for a show. Adding unique ideas and their vision to an intelligent fashion, they constantly play Hot and Cold, making enormous efforts to surprise the audience once more. Revising old samples and current trends in search of great discoveries, they try to catch the current “spirit of the time”. However, sometimes their concepts go ahead of time, and runway shows can provoke radical changes in the minds of invited guests. 

In contrast to Versace, Roberto Cavalli, Dsquared 2 and other kitschy brands they are satisfied with living by their rules and enjoy the results developing not just another construct, but a “legend”! Only they are capable of radical changes in the industry with such a well-established tradition. Without them, fashion would be boring and primitive. It exists due to them...
